Ernst Werner Siemens, von Siemens back 1888, (13 December 1816 – 6 December 1892) was a German artist and industrialist. Siemens' name has been adopted as the SI assemblage of electrical conductance, the siemens. He was additionally the architect of the electrical and telecommunications aggregation Siemens.
